A gentle guide for your stay
These are the essentials from the Menucha Guest Agreement. Expand any item for detail, or download the full document before you acknowledge.
- Soft voices and low volume after 10:00 pm, including outdoor areas.
- Please be mindful of neighbours in this quiet Somerset West street.
- Late arrivals: move gently, close gates softly, and save any music for daytime.
- No smoking or vaping inside the house, garage, or covered outdoor areas.
- If you must smoke, step well away from the property and dispose of remnants responsibly.
- Candles and open flames indoors are not permitted; use the outdoor braai with care.
- Maximum occupancy is four guests unless agreed in writing before arrival.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight — please do not invite extra overnight visitors.
- Day visitors are welcome in reasonable numbers; quiet hours still apply.
- Check-out by 10:00 am unless a late departure was arranged.
- Load used dishes in the dishwasher or wash, dry, and put away.
- Strip beds of used linen and leave in a neat pile; start a load of towels if time allows.
- Empty indoor bins into the outside bin; close windows, turn off lights and AC/heaters.
- Lock the door, close the gate, and place keys as instructed in your arrival note.
